Afripedia (French) is Wikipedia (French) offline. Installed on a computer, tAfripedia allows to have access to the contents of Wikipedia without Internet Connection. It’s adapted to the conditions of Africa with its Internet connection challenges.
To be sure it works well and to know its advantages, I installed it on my own computer and I use it permanently. I remark that Afripedia gives me the same resultants as if I do my researches on Wikipedia online. So, I find it very useful for our schools and I decided to install it in some schools in Bamako and rural villages in Mali. It has been installed on 38 computers (26 in some schools in Bamako and 12 in some rural schools around Bamako).
In these schools, teachers find the tool very useful for them in the preparation of the lesson, in the domain of culture research and for the students to ameliorate their knowledge in different fields.
